INSAI2022 has been successfully held in Shanghai on October 14, 2022!

The 2nd International Conference on Networking Systems of AI (INSAI2022) has been successfully held in Shanghai, China on October 14, 2022. Experts, scholars and researchers from China and abroad attended the conference in Shanghai or online. At the same time, thousands of scholars from around the world participated in this conference through the live broadcast.

INSAI2022, organized by Institute on Networking Systems of AI (INSAI), Fudan University, China, Hainan University, China, and University of Toronto, Canada, aims to provide a forum for researchers, engineers and industry experts to discuss recent developments, new ideas and breakthroughs in Networking Systems of Artificial Intelligence.

At the beginning of the conference, Prof. Tom H. Luan from Xidian University presided over the opening ceremony.General Chair Prof. Liang Song, Executive Director of Institute on Networking Systems of AI (INSAI), Fellow of Canadian Academy of Engineering,Professor of Fudan University, delivered the opening speech.

This conference was divided into three parts: Invited speeches, roundtable discussion, an oral presentation and award ceremony of excellent papers

In the invited speech part, Prof. Laurence Tianruo Yang, Fellow of Canadian Academy of Engineering&Academia Europaea, Academic Vice-Chancellor of Hainan University delivered the speech about Human-Machine-Thing Intelligence.

Prof. Jun Zhao and Dr. Xinyu Zhoufrom Nanyang Technological University (NTU), Singapore delivered a speech entitled “Joint Optimization of Energy Consumption and Completion Time in Federated Learning”.

Prof. Freddy Gabbay, Dean of Engineering Faculty of Engineering, Ruppin Academic Center, and Associate Research Fellow of Technion – Israel Institute of Technology, Israeldelivered a speech entitled “Compression of Neural Networks for Specialized Tasks via Value Locality”.

During the round table discussion, Prof. Liang Song, Prof. Tao Chen, Prof. Tom H. Luan, Prof. Xiangchao Zhang, Prof. Hui Feng, and Prof. Xinhua Zeng conducted lively discussions on the topic “What do you think is the most attractive research direction or topic for you, and in what ways will it change our world?”, introduced different research directions and their thoughts on the development of these research directions, and also shared their own learning and researchexperience.

During the award ceremony, General Chair of the conference, Prof. LiangSong presented awards to the winners of excellent papers and took photos with them.

International Conference on Networking Systems of AI will continue to provide a high-level exchange and cooperation platform for experts, scholars and researchers engaged in related research, and further promote the development of global communication and computing integration.
